Bagdad Recreational Facility and Community Center

Bagdad Recreational Facility is a 9-acre park located in the central uplands of the Historic District. The grounds include a Community Center and areas for softball, basketball, and tennis as well as a .23-mile walking trail, pavilion, and several picnic tables.
(Above) The Bagdad Community Center is located on the Bagdad Recreational Facility grounds and is accessed via the Pooley Street entrance. The center may be reserved for events by calling the Santa Rosa County Parks Department at 850 983-1940 or visiting their website at www.santarosa.fl.gov/Facilities/Facility/Details/Bagdad-Recreation-Facility-2.
Senior activities at the Bagdad Community Center are sponsored by the Council on Aging of West Florida. For more information, visit www.coawfla.org/ or call 850 983-4500.
(Above) The playground offers a nice area for kids and plenty of open space to bring your own sports equipment.
Take the .23-mile walking trail past the playground.
Continue your walk past the pavilion or stop for a break.
Make the loop past the ball field and back around the center.
